Dosage

  • Optimal grass production: 400kg/hectare
  • Mainenance of herbs: 100kg/hectare

Try to divide the dosage into 2 to 3 applications per year to prevent an overdose of minerals.

Usage

Mycofertil is a beautiful 3mm granule that can be spread using a spreader or by hand.

It is preferable to spread the initial dose in early spring, as soon as you can access the pasture. This way, the soil receives nourishment with the first warm rays of sunshine.

More about Mycofertil

In the context of grassy pastures for horses or meadows intended for haymaking, Mycofertil 3MM presents an advanced solution for promoting soil health and improving the nutritional quality of grassland. This specially developed fertilizer is designed with the unique needs of grazing horses in mind, promising increased efficiency and sustainability in agricultural practice.

Features

  • Mycofertil 3MM is an N-K fertilizer enriched with beet extract, resulting in a balanced nutrient formula with a ratio of 12.0.6, which is beneficial for the healthy growth of grassland.
  • Mycofertil is enriched with a combination of beneficial microorganisms, including Bacillus subtilis and Glomus mycorrhizae, with concentrations of 10^4 CFU/g respectively. These additions contribute to improving soil structure and nutrient uptake by plants.

Benefits

  • Mycofertil enlarges the root surface area of grass plants, resulting in improved nutrient uptake and resistance to drought and stress factors.
  • It promotes efficient growth and vegetation recovery in pasture areas, which is essential for maintaining a healthy and resilient ecosystem.
  • By optimizing nutrient uptake, it reduces input costs, especially in terms of phosphate, resulting in a cost-effective solution for agricultural management.
  • The presence of mycorrhizae in Mycofertil 3MM promotes the uptake of phosphorus by grass plants, resulting in reduced leaching of phosphorus and nitrogen, which in turn reduces environmental impact.
  • Mycofertil enhances the ability of grass plants to utilize mineral elements in the soil, resulting in improved nutritional value and palatability of the grass for grazing horses.

Endomycorrhizae (Glums sp.): 100E/g

Caution

Avoid synthetic fertilizers (produced through chemical processes) at all times. They can lead to a toxic overdose of a limited number of minerals, which are released massively into the soil. This causes the soil to release other essential minerals quickly, resulting in nutrient deficiencies. These deficiencies can lead to the breakdown of humus and soil organisms. Consequently, you end up with infertile soil with poor water retention and limited available nutrients for the grass. Restoring the soil is possible, but it is a process that takes several years.

There is a legal waiting period of 21 days for grazing after applying organic fertilizer (Article 11, paragraph 1, point c of Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009).

Additional information

We recommend conducting a soil analysis on your pasture at least every 3 years to determine the specific fertilizer requirements. Each pasture is unique and should be maintained with proper care.

We can always perform a soil analysis on your pasture to determine its specific needs and identify any deficiencies.
