Usage

The most suitable time to distribute worm castings on your horse pasture is during moist weather before winter. Thanks to annual compost fertilization, grass production will increase.

You can apply worm castings to your horse pasture using a manure spreader or compost spreader. Alternatively, you can also scatter small piles of worm castings across the pasture and spread them out regularly using a pasture drag. For smaller pastures, you can use the traditional method with a wheelbarrow, shovel, and rake.

For new seeding, we recommend distributing worm castings on the soil, mixing them in, and then seeding.

Worm castings, also known as worm humus or worm compost, are a natural organic fertilizer produced by worms. The significant difference compared to green compost is that the worms have already converted the green compost into a highly nutritious fertilizer.
