Sowing period: March-September

Always sow the Horse Star herb mix in combination with the Horse Star or Horse Star Extra grass seed mix according to the indicated dosage. This herb mix is suitable for overseeding when 30% of bare soil is visible. Do not sow on a closed grass mat, as the seeds will not receive enough light to germinate. Of course, it can also be used for new seeding.

The Horse Star herb mix is a versatile blend that greatly enhances the palatability and nutritional value of the grass mat. The unique composition of herbs promotes the resilience and vitality of horses. Additionally, this mix has a positive influence on the gut flora of horses. The herbs are intended as an addition to grass seed (mixing 250 grams per 15 kg of seed). Thanks to the deeper root systems of the herbs and legumes, the horse pasture is well-equipped to withstand extremely dry and wet periods. The combination of grass and herbs attracts earthworms and beneficial soil bacteria, making the soil more active and resilient, thus stimulating soil fertility. Both underground and above ground, the herbs attract life, resulting in much higher biodiversity compared to pure grass seed mixes.

Tip
